This is my parents neighborhood in Rancho Bernardo which was heavily hit with fires and heavy winds. The tenants of the house were evacuated when the fires were 20ft from the house and they surely thought that the house would not be there once they returned. My Ma emailed, txt'd and called us all to pray for a miracle that no one would be hurt and the house would be fine. Well, as you can see in
this interview, the fire didn't touch the house. Fortunately, the house was the only one standing on the street. Unfortunately, the neighbor's houses to the left and right didn't make it. I'm just glad no one got hurt. Material items can be replaced easily, it's always those things that have no price that is more valuable than gold.

This shot just says it all.
I can't even begin to explain this one.
Untouched.
